They say revenge is sweet, and there is no better Christmas present for the Western Sydney Wanderers fans than a 2-0 victory over the reigning champions, Central Coast Mariners.

In a re-match of last seasonís grand final, the Wanderers were able to elicit a different result and in doing so close the gap on first placed Brisbane Roar.† The Wanderers are now only two points behind the leaders and closing nicely.
