Mitch Nicols is heading to his fourth A-League club after securing a two-year deal at the Western Sydney Wanderers.
The 26-year-old Socceroos midfielder was on loan with Perth Glory last season from Japanese giants Cerezo Osaka.
On Saturday, the Wanderers - who finished second-last last season - confirmed Nicols would be joining them in their bid to improve their attack and creativity in the midfield.
The Wanderers scored a dismal 29 goals from 27 A-League games in 2014-15.
"(Nicols) has an unpredictable ability with the ball at his feet which makes him dangerous and his work rate off the ball is a part of his game that often goes unnoticed," Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said in a statement.
Nicols' experience with two of the most successful Australian clubs in recent history will be valuable at his new club.
He played 125 games over six seasons with Brisbane that included two championships before moving to Melbourne Victory in 2013.
He only turned out for Cerezo Osaka in six J-League games before shifting to Perth.
