Western Sydney defender Scott Jamieson hopes Wednesday's meeting between active supporters and Football Federation Australia (FFA) will end the A-league-wide boycott of matches by fans.

It looms as a potential D-day for the under-fire FFA, which will sit down with all 10 club chairmen on Wednesday before thrashing out differences that night with disenchanted fanbases.

A resolution to the ongoing conflict would likely lead to the ladder-leading Wanderers' Red and Black bloc returning for Saturday's blockbuster against defending champions Melbourne Victory.

"We really do need them, but we also understand that they haven't been treated right and they deserve to stand up and speak up," Jamieson said.

"But hopefully, this meeting tomorrow can really try and mend a few things."
