The Western Sydney Wanderers have re-signed promising winger Jaushua Sotirio for another season.
The 20-year-old has played 29 matches for the club since making his A-League debut in 2013 after coming through the club's youth team.
"Being at the Wanderers is the best for me," he said. "I've been improving due to the whole environment: the coaches, players and fans all push me to be a better person and a better player."
Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said Sotirio's re-signing highlighted the importance the club placed on their youth system.
"In many ways Jaushua was the breakthrough player in regards to youth players breaking into the first team," Tsatsimas said.
"He laid the path that many have since taken such as Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Daniel Alessi and just recently Mario Shabow."
